UK E-Envoy to make first public appearance at ICX conference

Alex Allan, the recently appointed UK E-envoy, made his first public appearance and speech in the UK at our Third Winter Conference.

Mr Allan, who does not take up his new post until January, joined the conference by videolink from his office in Sydney, Australia, where he is currently working for the UK government.

Mr Allan shared the conference platform with DTI Minister Patricia Hewitt MP, DTI officials Nigel Hickson and Stephen Pride, plus Richard Riley and Chris Farrimond from The Home Office, along with several senior business and European Commission speakers.
