The ICX Privacy Code of Conduct Workgroup
This group of international lawyers, consultants and government officials is working to produce a European Code of Conduct, which could be used by any European business wishing to adopt Best Practice procedures in order not to fall foul of the European Union's Personal Data Directive.

The Directive to effect from March 1, 2000 and already many national Data Protection Agencies are enforcing the regulations.

The group has a private Website for its work, which has a considerable store of useful documents relating to its work, which have been gathered from the OECD, International Chambers of Commerce and similar organisations.
